Product of the month: The EURO STOXX 5O®

Comprising the 50 largest companies of the Eurozone

This flagship blue-chip index from the index provider STOXX® Ltd was launched in February 1998 to assemble the 50 largest companies from the Eurozone countries Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. Already two years later, in 2000, it was the underlying index for the first ETF ever launched in Europe. Another two years later it became the underlying for the first futures and options on ETFs in Europe.

Today, this diversified and efficient investment tool is specially designed to serve as an underlying for a wide range of financial products such as Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Futures and Options, and structured products.
