Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | C7 SCS: Introduction of Xetra Trading Hours Extension

This Newsflash informs you about the introduction of the Xetra Retail Trading Hours Extension and its impact on the clearing services provided by C7 SCS effective from 1 December 2025.

With the introduction of the Extended Xetra Retail Service as part of T7 Release 14.0 (as announced in Xetra Circular 018/25 and Xetra Circular 046/25), the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB®) will offer an extension of trading hours for retail orders on the Xetra trading venue (MIC: XETR) for early trading (08:00 – 09:00 CET) and late trading (17:30 – 22:00 CET). 

The following changes are scheduled to come into effect on 1 December 2025:

  • Effective End-of-Trading for Xetra will shift from 17:30 CET to 22:00 CET.
  • Deadline for Linking before Aggregation will shift approximately to 22:40 CET for trades concluded for Xetra. The C7 SCS Member SWIFT Guide will be updated and made available at a later time.
  • For Clearing Members, who do not make use of cross-venue netting between trades concluded at Xetra and Börse Frankfurt, the netting for trades concluded at Xetra will shift to after 22:40 CET.
  • Distribution of C7 SCS reports related to Xetra and Börse Frankfurt trades will take place approximately 30 minutes later.

Please note: The above-mentioned adjustments apply to all Clearing Members clearing trades executed on Xetra, irrespective of their Trading Participants’ participation in the Extended Xetra Retail Service.
