Simulation setup for UNO Market Activation Wave 2

Clearing Members who wish to participate in the End-to-End (E2E) simulation for UNO Market Activation Wave 2 as part of C7 SCS Release 5.5 should ensure the following:

  • Prepare their simulation setup by verifying connectivity to the relevant simulation environments (C7, CRE, trading venues and the relevant (I)CSDs) and ensuring internal readiness across trading, clearing, settlement and IT functions.
  • From 23 April to 29 April 2026 (published trade entry window), execute test trades in simulation in instruments impacted by UNO Wave 2 (Switzerland, USA and Canada).
  • Ensure pending delivery instructions are eligible for cut-over testing, i.e. on 29 April 2026 instructions are either on HOLD or there are no holdings on the relevant CEU/SIX SIS accounts, so that cancellation and reinstruction as part of the migration can be observed.
  • From 5 May 2026 onwards, provide sufficient cash and securities holdings to allow settlement of reinstructed deliveries after the simulated migration.
  • Validate clearing, settlement and reporting by reviewing the standard C7 SCS reports provided via the Common Report Engine (CRE) and, where applicable, settlement reporting from connected (I)CSDs.

In May 2026, for Members who will not be able to participate on the cut-over simulation, Eurex Clearing will publish generic test Member sample reports on C7 SCS Release 5.5 > System Documentation > Reports. These reports will show the impact of delivery cancellation and reinstruction on the Delivery IDs and References (SEME).

Participation in the simulation is optional but strongly recommended to validate individual setups and operational processes ahead of the production launch of C7 SCS Release 5.5.
