Having a global view doesn't exclude a local reach
Eurex is one of the largest derivatives exchanges worldwide, with several indexes spanning multiple countries and continents. However, local country indexes should not be missing from an investment portfolio. Currently, Eurex offers futures and options on different local and regional indexes.
This includes the SIX Swiss Exchange Indexes, Vienna Stock Exchange Indexes, FTSE 100 Index, OMX Helsinki 25, and of course, the German DAX®. Trading with country-specific indexes allows investors to monitor the respective market's overall situation and over-or underweighting specific countries in a global investment portfolio.
The Swiss market index (SMI®) is Switzerland’s most important stock market index. It is made up of 20 of the largest and most liquid large-and mid cap stocks. The securities contained in the SMI® currently represent more than 90 percent of the entire market capitalization as well as 90 percent of the trading volume of all Swiss and Liechtenstein equities listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
The SLI Swiss Leader Index® comprises the SMI® shares plus the 10 largest stocks in the SMIM®, the mid cap index of SIX Swiss Exchange. Hence, it includes the 30 largest and most liquid securities in the Swiss equity market.
The FTSE 100 Index is the second-largest index in Europe after the EURO STOXX 50® Index. Trade Futures and Options on U.K.'s benchmark index at Eurex.
Take advantage of the exchange-traded benefits available at Eurex, such as clearing and risk management functionalities that help to reduce counterparty risks and increase margin efficiencies.
Standardized contract specifications for straightforward integration into existing trading infrastructures and harmonized market structure across products (TES, EnLight and Matching Models) complete the FTSE 100 Index offering.
The Vienna Stock Exchange is an established index provider offering well-known indexes for Austria and Central Eastern Europe.
With its economy closely connected to the Central Eastern European (CEE) markets, Austria has always been a gateway to this region. And with our ATX® and CECE® EUR Index Derivatives, you can invest directly in these markets.
OMX Helsinki 25 (OMXH25) is a stock market index of the Helsinki Stock Exchange. It is a market value weighted index that consists of the 25 most heavily traded Finnish stocks. In contrast to other indexes the OMX Helsinki 25 has a maximum weight for single stocks which is limited to 10 percent.
